    Only negative was that the website looks like it will be a steam locomotive, but that doesn't run every time the train runs..

    On the pricey side, but a great way to view the district with the kids. Buy 1-get-1 free on the Entertainment card, and trips are a little cheaper if take them from Port Elliot (roughly half way mark). Tips: if you have a large family and not everyone wants to go, take the keen beans on the train, and everyone else drive to meet you at Goolwa.

    Truly lovely experience, really worth it. Thankyou to the wonderful volunteers who staffed the train today we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the commentary!

    Riding this train was just a great train ride... The rattles, the swaying, the scenery, and above all hanging out the open windows!
