  Recently when travelling I found that I had arrived in Victor Harbor (some 700+ k's from home) and discovered that I had left important medication at my last stop some 350 kilometres back along the track. The medication is quite important to me following major cardiac surgery and helps me to maintain lifestyle and good health. I found the pharmacist at Harbor Pharmacy to be outstanding. He was helpful and understanding. He listened to my summary of the circumstances and advised me to call my doctor's surgery who fortunately were able to discuss the issue with him, fax prescriptions and additional advice and within an hour I had the required medication in my hand and had missed only the previous evening's dose. He dispensed all items and will forward the signed prescriptions with repeats by mail. In an age where the Internet seems to claim more and more of the retail sector it is comforting to find that some segments of the business community still operate at a personal level with friendly advice and assistance.
